10 Things I Love About France:

2. Travelling by train

3. Listening to people speak French

4. The (very brief) moment in a conversation right before the other person realizes that I have an accent

5. Discussions about cultural differences like censorship, political parties, and levels of formality embedded in language

6. How bright vegetables and fruits seem compared to their duller counterparts in the US

7. Access to free or reduced-price things until I'm 26

8. Walking amongst buildings that are older than my country

9. Drinking cider at lunch (sometimes)

10. Finally understanding the difference between rudeness and just French-ness

Rosie! I don't know why I don't think of you every single time I take public transit (though I do think of you lots on public transit). I love and miss you and hope Boston/life is treating you well!
